Privacy Policy

Fitnis runs live group fitness classes for employees of the companies that sign up with us ("client companies"). This policy explains what we collect, why, who can see it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details: your name and email address. If you sign in with Google or Microsoft, we receive only your name, email address and profile picture link from them; never your password.
- Company details: which client company you belong to, your class group and, if your HR team uploads a list, your department.
- Class activity: which classes you joined, your points, effort and repetition counts, your class ratings, and messages you send us (feedback and problem reports, including any screenshot you choose to attach).
- Heart rate and watch data (optional): if you connect a heart-rate monitor or a watch, we store summaries such as active minutes, minutes in higher heart-rate zones, steps and workouts.
- Technical data: sign-in records and basic device information needed to keep the service working and secure.
Camera and microphone
In live classes your video and audio are streamed to the other participants and the coach through our video provider. Classes are not recorded. Movement tracking (for points and rep counting) is analyzed on your own device; the camera images are not sent to or stored by Fitnis. Only the resulting numbers are saved.
How we use it
- To run classes, scoring, leaderboards and your group.
- To send emails you need: sign-in codes, class reminders (you can turn these off), and updates about group change requests.
- To give your company aggregate participation reports, and to improve Fitnis.
We do not sell your personal information and do not use it for advertising.
Who can see your information
- Your company's HR team sees your name, email, group, class attendance and points. They see your heart-rate and watch activity only if you turn on "Share with HR" (off by default; you can change it any time).
- Your coach and group see your name, attendance and in-class scores; leaderboards show names and points.
- Fitnis staff see what they need to run the service for the companies they manage.
- Service providers that host and run Fitnis for us: Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (website hosting), Daily (live video), Google (email delivery and Google sign-in), Microsoft (Microsoft sign-in) and, if you connect a watch, Terra (watch data). They may only use your data to provide their service to us.
- Authorities, if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is active and while your company uses Fitnis. When an account is deleted, its personal data is removed; we may keep anonymous totals. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Your choices and rights
- Turn "Share with HR", class reminders and the watch competition on or off in the app.
- Disconnect a watch or heart-rate monitor at any time.
- Ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account, by emailing chayimhirsch@gmail.com.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections, and access is limited by role: each company's data is visible only to its own people, its coaches and the Fitnis staff who manage it.
Children
Fitnis is for adults at work and is not meant for anyone under 16.
